BOXING DAY RUN

On a wet and breezy Boxing Day morning, after the excesses of the day before 19 determined Harriers arrived at at Summerheath Hall to run a mystery course set by Chairman Andy Ruffell.
He had conspired to create a course of 3.25 miles, all the participants had to do was predict their time in advance🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏼‍♂️ and the run as near to this time as possible.🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️.
Sounds easy doesn’t it🤞🤞🤞.

Let’s see how they did. It would be safe to say the ladies were much better at it than the men. Our overall winner was Rachel running within 3 seconds of her prediction. Compared with our men’s winner Pete Burtenshaw running 1minute 51 seconds within his prediction. Alissa Ellis was our quickest runner competing the course in 21.37.

Full results in no particular order.
