What a day for the Eastbourne Half!! The wind was howling but fortunately the rain stopped before the race started. That last 2 miles was tough, running into the wind. However, there were some great efforts out there.
Firstly, a massive thank you to our pacers and those that organised the pacers. It’s always helpful to see those orange flags, which must have been quite challenging in the weather. Well done to all who stepped forwards to do this role.
Our first Harrier home was Gary Judges 1.33.18. Second was Simon Haddon in a time of 1.37.27. Third was Graham Woolley in 1.38.12. Well done to you all.
Well done to Charlotte Long who got a new PB!! (in this weather??!) and 8th Female.
I would also like to say a special well done to Norman, who has made an amazing comeback and achieved a great time of 2.21.32. Well done.
