Hellingly 10K

The pride and camaraderie of our Black and Red colours was shown once again in an impressive, inspiring, event which saw 299 Runners attend the Hellingly 10K on Sunday 9th September.

Firstly a big black and red thank you to the incredible 2019 organising committee of Annette Feakes, Wendy HQ, Mrs Duffy, Nigel Duckworth, Graham Purdue, Ian Pusey, Paul Eccles, Ells Ruffell, Paul Henderson and of course our mighty Captain – Andy Ruffell, not forgetting to mention the huge team of Marshall’s, helpers and cake makers 🎂 This event would not go ahead without you all ❤️🖤

The Hellingly 10K was the 9th race of the SGP championships of 2019 and produced some truly wonderful performances. 32 Harriers represented the club and special mention goes to the following Harriers:

1st Harrier home – Ross Brocklehurst who placed 8th overall👍🏻

Gary Judges 12th overall winning his age category 🥇 👍🏻

Rachel Hillman – first female Harrier and placed 2nd lady overall👍🏻

Lisa Goldsmith – second female Harrier home winning her age category🥇👍🏻Frances Delves 😎 winning her age category🥇👍🏻

The trophy 🏆 for 1st Ladies Team was scooped up by our very own Harriers – Rachel Hillman, Lisa Goldsmith, Aislinn Darvell and Emma Murphy – well done ladies ❤️🖤
