New Years Day 2020 and whilst most people were nursing a hangover from the night before 🤯 Bewl Water Reservoir saw 500 runners show up at 10am for a foggy, chilly 10K and 5K organised by the fantastic Nice Work team.
Scotney Castle has been the home of this run in previous years but after a last minute cancellation it moved to Bewl Water. Both the 5K and 10K started at the scenic reservoir and were out and back courses (1 Lap and 2 Laps) through the very muddy, undulating forest 🌳
Gary ‘Fluffy’ Smith 51:59 and Helen ‘Tinks’🧚🏻♂️O’Sullivan 46:21 represented the Hailsham Harriers here both running in the 10K 🏃🏼♀️🏃🏽♂️
Congratulations to all Harriers who made it to a parkrun on New Years Day and of course to those who ran double bubble parkruns – Tina Macenhill, Mark Bassett, Mrs Duffy, Jenny Hall, Ivor Rumsey👫🏼Nina Rumsey, Martin Kennett, Ian Pusey, Richard Tanner, Graham Purdye ❤️
Wishing team black and red a happy, healthy New Year ❤️🖤
🌟 ⭐️🕺🏽please don’t forget the Harriers Awards night is on March 7th and tickets are now ………. ON SALE 💃
