The Mince Pie Ten is a local race organised by Seaford Striders to raise funds for the club and local Charities – this year for Sussex Cancer Fund.
Starting and finishing at the Peacehaven Leisure Centre the race has been voted one of the UK’s top ten races in runners world magazine. The challenging course is a 10 mile multi-terrain event which is undulating, muddy and mostly off road.
Sunday 8th December saw sunny blue skies but windy, chilly conditions at the race start.
First male Harrier home and an incredible 3rd place overall was Ross Brocklehurst 1:02:34 🏆 with our amazing ladies captain Alissa Ellis winning first lady 🏆 in 1:07:44 and 14th overall – Enjoy the Christmas puddings you two 🎅🏻
Jenny Hall 1:26:29, Tina Macenhill 1:33:29 and Felicity Poirier 1:33:29 made up the six strong festive black and red team.
Well done everyone, nice to see our Harriers getting in the Christmas 🎄 spirit and hope you all enjoyed the post race mince pies 🥧 🎅🏻 🎁
